What’s included in phase 1?

  • 9 x 1:1 one-hour mentoring sessions over a period of no more than 9 months

  • Two followup sessions 1:1 one-hour mentoring sessions at three & six month intervals after completion
  • Standard membership for 1 year to the Women in Business Regional Network

What’s included in phase 2?

  • 6 x 1:1 one-hour mentoring sessions over a period of no more than 9 months
  • Access to online resources for up to 12 months

What is included in phase 3?

  • Access to online resources for up to 12 months
  • 4 x 1:1 one-hour mentoring sessions over a period of no more than 5 months
  • One followup 1:1 one-hour checkin session three months after final mentoring session.

Why is entry to phase 1 only offered through an expression of interest process?

At BizNatal we want to do everything we can to ensure that our clients are a good fit for our products and services. We want to give your business “baby” the best chance of success that we can.

Although we cannot assess and promise the viability of your business idea through the expression of interest process, we consider your suitability for the program, how we can best offer our services to you and whether we believe BizNatal, or another provider, can give you the best possible start for your business “baby”.

Can I purchase a single training module?

Yes. If you are interested in only one topic you can purchase a single training module complete with its e-book, videos and any templates associated with that module. These can be purchased via our shop.

Is there a time limit to complete the BizNatal programs?

The short answer is yes, but we recognise not everyone has the same amount of time available to undertake the program, and we all learn differently and at different rates.

Our Phase 1 program offers two timeframe options – a fast-track 10-week program and another option over 12 months.

Phase 2 is conducted over nine months.

Phase 3 is over eight months. All of our programs offer access to online resources for up to 12 months.

What happens if I want to access a training module after 12 months?

The purchase of training modules, including as part of our incubator programs, includes a subscription for just 12 months. If you wish to access these or other resources beyond the 12 month subscription you will need to renew your subscription or purchase the additional resources individually.

Will you remind me when my 12 month subscription is nearing an end?

Yes. You will receive a reminder email one month before the expiration of your subscription.

If I sign up for one of the BizNatal programs, will I also get access to any new modules that are added during my 12-month subscription?

Yes. Any new modules that are added within your 12-month subscription will be able to be accessed by you at no extra charge if you have signed up and paid to be part of an incubator program.

What happens if a new module is added when I only have weeks to go on my subscription, will I still have access to that new module for 12 months?

No. Any new modules added to the program will only be available to you until your 12-month incubator subscription expires.

If I start one of the programs and don’t wish to complete it, will I get a refund?

The short answer is no. The phase 1 program gives you the option to pay by instalment and opt-out options during the program. You can read the full terms and conditions via the link on the Phase 1 program page.

What is BizNatal’s refund policy?

We do not generally offer a refund, particularly on programs where the service has already been offered. However, please speak with us if you have exceptional circumstances as to why you can’t continue. We’re reasonable people and understand life doesn’t always go to plan.

If I complete Phase 1, are there ongoing costs after the first 12 months?

Participants who complete phase 1 will be responsible for the ongoing costs of website hosting on an annual basis. The cost of hosting is subject to review annually, depending on external costs. You will be notified of any changes prior to renewal. Should participants no longer wish to have their website hosted through BizNatal, additional costs apply for transferring hosting to another organisation.

Phase 1 participants will also be responsible for paying annual membership fees of the Women in Business Regional Network beyond the first year if they choose to maintain their membership.

How are the mentoring/coaching sessions delivered?

The mentoring/coaching sessions are generally delivered online via the Zoom platform.

Is the BizNatal program only for women?

Although the BizNatal program has been designed with regional women in business in mind, we’re not in the business of discriminating. If you’d like access to our online resources you’re welcome to download them. You are also welcome to make an application for participation in our incubator programs. Your application will be given the same consideration as those from our female applicants.

Is there a choice of mentors/coaches?

As BizNatal is in its infancy there is not a choice of mentors and coaches at present, but we hope to have more on our team in the future. We do, however, also offer a referral service to other organisations if you require assistance beyond that which we can provide.

Mentoring services will be provided initially by BizNatal’s founder Carolyn Jeffrey.

If I want to establish a larger business than just a sole trader, can BizNatal still assist?

Yes. Although our specialty is helping microbusiness, our program is of value to those wishing to operate a larger business. We have access to a range of other services and providers we can refer you to if we consider your plans beyond our scope.

Are there ongoing costs for my website after completing Phase 1?

Yes. You will be charged an annual website hosting fee of $380 which covers the cost of site hosting, including one email address, quarterly site health checks and software updates, quarterly manual backups and access to shared plugins for SEO and security.
